DAHSL: Developing Academic Health Sciences Libraries

a collaboration to create the 21st century academic health sciences library…

A request from AAHSL…and see you in November in San Antonio?

Julie Sollenberger, incoming AAHSL President is asking us:

  1. What kind of assistance do new, emerging and evolving academic health sciences libraries need, particularly from AAHSL?
    • consultation / advice?
    • organizational support?
    • specifics, e.g., facility specs or standards?
    • professional support, e.g., curricular development, staffing suggestions, organizational development?
  2. What should AAHSL be providing (relates, of course, to #1 above)?
    • tools, toolkits?
    • meetings, either in person or virtual?
    • electronic products, e.g., a blog or wiki or?
    • professional development re creating a new kind of library?
  3. General comments??
